Wealthy and Division /// La esquina de Wealthy y Division

There has been a lot of activity recently around this intersection, mostly demolition and traffic circles, and of course the new additions to "Cathedral Square." Information on the plans for the future is hard to come by, and there hasn't been any outreach to the surrounding community.

This will be a prominent and continuing subject. More to come...

Ha estado mucha actividad alrededor de esta esquina, la mayoría es demolición y rotundas/glorietas, y claro que sí la nueva "Plaza Catedral" Información sobre los planes para el futuro es difícil encontrar, y no se han pedido las opiniones de la comunidad.

Why GReografía? /// Por qué GReografía?

Well, anything about Grand Rapids should start with GR. I chose "GReografía" instead of "GReography" because it incorporates another important aspect of our city, our large Spanish-speaking population.

The reason for the blog was basically to digitally and openly reflect on the city around us: What it's like, why that is, where it's going, what that means, and what we are going to do about it!

Bueno, todo sobre Grand Rapids debe empezar con GR. Escogí "GReografía" en vez de "GReography" porque incluye otro aspecto importante de nuestra ciudad, nuestra población grande de hispanohablantes.

La razón para el blog fue basicamente para reflexionar digitalmente y abiertamente sobre la ciudad alrededor de nosotros: Como es, porque es así, adonde va, que eso significa, y lo que vamos a hacer!
